Dr. Robert Pearce
Dr. Robert Pearce earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Miami in 1981, worked in the music industry for five years, and then went on to graduate in 1990 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in California. He’s been in full time private practice in the San Francisco bay area for twenty five years and has maintained a career long commitment to continuing education. He currently serves as a visiting faculty mentor at SPEAR Education and as a member of the Education Development Committee of the Open Wide Foundation.
In 2013, Dr. Pearce became a fellow at the California Implant Institute. His professional affiliations include: American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the SPEAR Faculty Club.
Dr. Pearce has been very involved in the Foundation from the beginning. He was a member of the inaugural team providing patient services for the grand opening week of the Peronia clinic (Jan ’12) and then an additional service week in June of that year. He also arranged for the donation of of a “Nomad” x-ray system and made a special trip to set it up and train the staff in its use, and then provided another week of service along with his wife Kelly. During each of these weeks, Dr. Pearce treated patients and also provided hands-on case mentoring to local dentists and dental students at the Peronia Guatemala clinic. In June of 2015 Dr. Pearce presented a lecture and workshop at the University of Mariano Galvez on important concepts of occlusion.
