Financial Stewardship

The Open Wide Foundation follows the highest standards of financial integrity, stewardship.

Stewardship is an ethic that embodies responsible planning and management of resources. The concept of stewardship has been applied in diverse realms, including with respect to environment, economics, health, property, and information, and is linked to the concept of sustainability. It is a direct result of the strong commitment to stewardship by Spear Education and the founders of Open Wide Foundation that your donations can go largely toward managing the logistics of moving people, supplies, and equipment to the areas of need.

Spear Education, Frank Spear, and the founders of Open Wide Foundation generously donate the main administrative costs of running the foundation. Not only is it their vision to “bring health and hope to communities in need,” but it is their combined commitment to our mission that makes it possible for your generosity to reach the people that need it most.
